Dr. Carey's Baby Care: First Year Baby Care Guide Book & 2 Swaddling Blankets Review + Giveaway 7/7 US

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
I have 2 daughters and when they were newborns, I had several book guides on how to care for your newborn up to the first year. All of the books I had were just a mixture of short and long explanations on what to expect during the first year of your baby and tips on when to bring your baby to the doctor.

Dr. Carey's Baby Care: First Year Baby Care Guide Book is the first book I saw with lots of photos of common baby issues as well as a guide to what expect the first year of your baby's life.

Here is a short description of the Dr. Carey's Baby Care: First Year Baby Care Guide Book:

A great baby educating guide (less than 100 pages, over 120 full color pictures) with 2 swaddling blankets!
Think of this book as a user’s guide to your baby’s first year, an office visit to your baby’s physician found between the covers of this book. It’s arranged so that the most common questions are handled by topic. My goal is to answer a lot of the questions parents have that their own physicians may not spend the time to really answer, and to do so clearly and simply, and with lots and lots of pictures where appropriate. There are certainly many medically related questions that are best answered by someone in the medical field, but rarely do health practitioners take the time to go into those answers with enough depth for the parents.

What I liked about Dr. Carey's Baby Care: First Year Baby Care Guide Book were the photos of common baby issues and problems you might see and encounter during the first year of your child.

When my 1st daughter was born, I remember panicking over rashes on her face and other things but when we bring her to her doctor, he would always say it's just normal. With Dr. Carey's Baby Care: First Year Baby Care Guide Book, every common baby issue and problem listed which you might encounter has a photo included so it's easier to know if it's common, normal or if you have to bring your child to the doctor. I appreciate pictures more than reading descriptions so the pictures are a big plus for me. The yellow swaddling blanket included with the book is super soft. My daughters used them as blankets and they love the animal prints. :)

  2. This book might come in real handy and save my Buddy from freaking out his mommy when he gets a rash or low grade fever. I like that it has lots and lots of pictures. I'm a visual person so pictures help a lot. I also like the swaddle blankets. He just loves being swaddled and probably the book explains why this is too. Thanks for sharing Dr. Carey's Baby Care First Year.
