DigiYes Portable Bluetooth Speaker With Cradle Stand Review + #Giveaway 7/20 US

DigiYes_Portable_Bluetooth_Speaker.jpg
I love using a portable blue tooth speaker because aside from the convenience of bringing it anywhere in our home while it's connected to my device, I can also bring it on the go when we're pier fishing. I don't have to plug my phone in the speaker and keep the phone close to me or in my pocket while listening to music.

When I received the DigiYes Portable Bluetooth Speaker, I was excited to try it because this is the first time I'm trying a bluetooth speaker with a cradle stand. Yes, this might be common to other bluetooth speaker, but for me, this is the first time I've had a speaker with this feature. :)

The DigiYes Portable Bluetooth SPeaker with cradle stand comes in 6 different colors. I received the "silveng white" color.
DigiYes_Portable_Bluetooth_Speaker.jpg
The DigiYes Speaker measures 3.15 inches x 7.87 inches x 1.65 inches and has a nice, silver, metallic color. At the back, there is an on/off switch, a standard 3.5mm stereo aux-in jack and a micro-USB port to charge the speaker. The Li-polymer Battery rechargeable battery is capable of up to 1000mAh charge which can go up to 6 to 8 hours of playback time.

The charging USB cable is already included in this pack as well as a 3.5 mm jack cable so that I can also play music from devices which doesn't have blue tooth capabilities.

The cradle stand is thin yet it can effectively support my phone, a Huawei Ascend Mate 2, horizontally with the rubber case on.
DigiYes_Portable_Bluetooth_Speaker.jpg
And it can also support it vertically.

Pairing is very easy and no codes were required when I paired this to my phone and iPad mini. There is no volume control on the speaker so volume is dependent on the volume of my phone.

Since the DigiYes has 2 x 3 watts speaker on both sides, sound is crystal clear and sound equal. I love how this speaker delivers crystal clear, high quality sound which isn't distorted.

Aside from that, I like that the DigiYes speaker has a 10 meter wireless distance capability so while I'm charging my phone inside our room, I can bring the speaker out when I'm listening to music. It's light, compact and portable which is why it's perfect to bring on the go as well.

This is a nice, quality bluetooth speaker which is definitely one of my favorites as of now.

Sticky Suction Car Mount by iGotTech Review

iGotTechStickySuctionCarMount.jpg
I don't use my phone when driving but my 3 year old daughter uses it. I know the importance and safety of not using my phone while I'm driving so I hand it over to my 3 year old daughter at the back. It's nice to have some hands-free devices and gadget accessories though to help with my gadgets when we're in the car.

iGotTech sent me their Sticky Suction Car Mount to try and I was glad I got to try it.
iGotTechStickySuctionCarMount.jpg
The Sticky Suction Car Mount from iGotTech has a black color and has a really nice design. The suction base has a lever to lock the suction base in place. The sticky pad came with a plastic cover to protect the stickiness of the sticky pad.
iGotTechStickySuctionCarMount.jpg
I wanted to put it on our dashboard but the suction base didn't stick on my dashboard. I then tried it in the front shield glass. I pulled the suction base lever up, pressed the suction base in the glass and then pushed the lever down. I was amazed by how powerful the suction base is.

Next, I removed the plastic cover from the sticky tape and sticked my Moto G (with my shockproof casing first) in the sticky pad. It didn't really hold the phone for a long period of time so I removed the casing of my phone and tried again.

The sticky pad held my phone on longer but I had to press my phone a bit hard onto the sticky pad. Washing the sticky pad solved this problem and made it sticky again. I like how the sticky pad didn't leave any sticky residue on my phone but it's effective enough to hold my phone.

I would put the iGotTech Sticky Suction Car Mount at the back window so that my daughters can both see my phone when we're in the car.

HOW DO YOU KEEP HANDS-FREE WHEN YOU'RE IN THE CAR?

MY REVIEW:

ChromoLEDlight.jpg
When I received the Chromo CI160 LED Video Lighting, I wasn't able to test it right away because batteries are not included and we don't have spare batteries at home. So when I was finally able to buy the batteries, I tested it out.

I tried to take several photos of my daughter's 3DS case from no flash to using the filters and you can see the difference about the brightness of the photos above.

NO FLASH - I tried the camera with no flash to see the difference.
CAMERA'S FLASH - I used the flash of our camera for this one.
W/ WHITE FILTER - I used the Chromo's LED light and white filter instead of our camera's flash. The photo was brighter and clearer and the Mario image was glare-free.
W/ PINK FILTER - I used the Chromo's LED light and pink filter instead of our camera's flash. It doesn't have that much difference with the white filter but it might have a difference on a different setting.
W/ YELLOW FILTER - I used the Chromo's LED light and yellow filter instead of our camera's flash. The photo became yellowish and is perfect if I wanted to have that old photo/sepia effect.

After using the Chromo CI160 LED Video Lighting, I noticed how different the quality and brightness of photos are with and without it. The brightness of the Chromo LED lighting is also dimmable so I can adjust the brightness I want in my photos. In the above photos where I used the Chromo, I was at the maximum or brightest setting. As I've said, I'm not an expert when it comes to camera accessories so I can't say if these photos look different for those who are experts on cameras but for me, the Chromo CI160 made a difference on my photos and I love it since it's easy to use.

MFi Apple Certified USB Charge/Sync Cable by AYL Review

Have you ever experienced misplacing your USB cable or charger? I have! Specially when I use it somewhere than my usual place of charging/syncing, then it either ends up inside my daughters' toy box or it would be where I used it (which could take hours before I remember where I last used it). So one of the things that I keep an extra spare is a USB charge/sync cable for my phone, tablet and camera.

The USB Charge/Sync Cable by AYL, which is an acronym for Accessorize Your Life, has a premium quality guarantee which means the cable material, connectors, design and package are all directly approved and certified by Apple to meet Apple performance standards under Apple's MFi program. It's compatible with iPhone 5/5S/5C, iPad 4, iPad Mini, iPod Touch 5 and iPod Nano 7. It also supports Mac and Windows PC. It is 6 feet long which provides you more freedom to select  more comfortable location for you when you charge your Apple device at home, in the car or in store. It has a stylish and slim lightning connector design which allows it to be used with most devices without removing your case. It has a 1 year warranty and a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee.

When I received the AYL USB Charge/Sync Cable, I noticed the quality of the materials used in the cable. It is much cheaper than the Apple USB Cable but the quality is almost the same. Yes, there are other cheaper USB cables but, from my experience, cheaper and uncertified cables doesn't last long.

Since my brother is the one who has an iPad Mini, I gave the AYL USB Cable to him. He loves the length of the cable and he likes that he has an extra cable for syncing. With his current case, he doesn't need to remove the case to charge his iPad with the AYL USB Cable.

You can purchase the AYL MFi Apple Certified USB Charge/Sync Cable at Amazon for $16.99 with free shipping if you have Prime.

ProBand - iPhone 5 Armband by MuvUSA Review

I've recently been jogging once a week and I realized that being hands-free is a must. Holding something would interfere with my arm movements but listening to music also motivates me jog longer. So, MuvUSA's Proband couldn't have arrived in a better time.

The iPhone 5 Armband by MuvUSA lets you workout hands-free. Whether it's exercising, jogging, dancing, weight-lifting or just listening to music while doing chores in the house, MuvUS's Proband will help you be hands-free.

Here's a little more about MuvUSA's ProBand:

The MuvUSA's ProBand has premium red stitching which adds to it's quality, durability and style. The superior velcro will remain intact and will ensure that the band does not slip off your arm. All the openings are also reinforced so it's tear-resistant. The ultra soft neoprene material ensures full comfort and won't cause damage to your skin. It protects you iPhone from damage and is usable in any condition because it's waterproof and sweat resistant. The screen protector is slim and highly sensitive so you wouldn't have to take out your phone to use it. The high-visibility reflector allows you to run or exercise outdoors even at night. The ProBand has 4 openings and a key holder to provide great convenience. It fits both iPhone 5s/5c and Ipod Touch 5.

How did the ProBand fare for me?

I've used it a couple of times already and I like that it holds the iPod very well. The ProBand's velcro holds up great and because of that, the ProBand doesn't slip or move around while I jog. The screen protector doesn't interfere with accessing the iPod so I don't have to take it out. The key hole is a bit small and snug and will only fit a key with no keychain. I did have to remove my key from the keychain in order for me to put just the key on they key sleeve. I can now jog without constantly thinking about the iPod plus, the music keeps me going.

You can purchase the MuvUSA's ProBand on Amazon priced at $17.99 with free shipping if you have Prime. BUY IT HERE.

Helping Hand: Phone/Tablet Stand by I-Stand Review

My first question when Charles from I-Stand contacted me to do a review of their Helping Hand was, why didn't I think of owning a product like Helping Hand before?! My phone and tablet would get lost somewhere under my papers and products to review that I think the Helping Hand is a great product to keep my tablet and phone in sight.

The Helping Hand came in just 2 pieces. A plastic base, which is available in black or white, and a sticky pad. The Helping Hand is designed to hold a phone or tablet (up to 7") in a flat surface or in a cup holder. I removed the plastic cover of the sticky pad and noticed how sticky it is on both sides. I forgot to mention that the sticky pad is washable but I haven't tried washing it so I'm not sure if the stickiness will go away if I washed it.

Next I placed my Samsung Galaxy tablet on the Helping Hand and was surprised because the first time I placed it, I felt a subtle sucking feeling when my tablet adhered to the sticky pad. I tried to shake it and the tablet stayed in place. What I noticed was that the plastic base does stand upright but, IF I ACCIDENTALLY (hypothetically speaking) hit the stand unintentionally with a bit of force, it will topple over. On its own though, it stands upright rigidly. :) Okay so wanna see how sticky the sticky pad is?

I first tried to hold the base vertically and look! It can hold the tablet! I was surprised because our tablet is a bit heavy. I didn't think the sticky pad would actually be THAT sticky. :) Wanna see something cooler?

Oh yeah! I flipped it horizontally and the sticky pad still held the tablet. It didn't give any indication of falling or unsticking from the base or the tablet. :) I sure hope the stickiness will remain if in the future I need to wash the sticky pad.

When I removed the tablet, I was first concerned that it the sticky pad would leave a residue on my tablet. The tablet is a bit hard to remove from the sticky pad and the good news, no sticky residue at the back of our tablet! :) I tried to re-stick and remove it and the sticky pad has the same stickiness the first time I used it.

The Helping Hand also fits perfectly in the cup holder in our car so this is a great product to hold phones while in the car. I can visibly see my phone and go to speaker mode when someone calls me while driving.
