Vitamin C Serum is the first beauty serum I tried before and fell in love with it. I like how compatible and helpful this product is for me, that I use it daily. I use and rotate different types of serums but this is one that stays in my regimen ever since I've tried it.

The La Deessa 20% Vitamin C Serum arrived in a 1 oz. amber bottle with a dropper to dispense the serum. The La Deessa 20% Vitamin C Serum has a clear, runny consistency and has a super subtle natural, aloe vera-like scent. I am used to vitamin c serums having a citrus scent so it's nice that the scent is different.

Application is easy and I do it once a day at night. After cleansing my skin, I apply about 6 drops of the La Deessa 20% Vitamin C Serum on my palms, rub it a bit and pat it on my skin. I then proceed to apply the La Deessa Peptide Eye Serum and then the 2.5% Retinol.

The La Deessa Vitamin C Serum is mild and gentle yet it brings out the best of my skin. I have an oily, acne-prone skin type which, I thought would clear up, since I'm in my late 20's already. The La Deessa 20% Vitamin C Serum, together with the 2.5% Retinol, reduced the oiliness of my skin as well reduced the gravity of my breakouts. I like that this brightened my complexion and lightened the dark spots from previous acne scars as well.
