Hudson Cast Iron Stainless Steel Chainmail Scrubber Review

I used to buy the stainless steel pot scrubber sponge in the past for our pots and pans and I noticed that it crumbles easily and leaves shiny little specks of shiny things in our sink and pots. When I received the Hudson Cast Iron Stainless Steel Chainmail Cleaner, I can't help but notice how well made this is. My initial thought was that this is the last pot scrubber I'll need because it looks so durable.

Here is a quick product description from the company:
  • Hudson XL chainmail scrubber is the ideal way to effectively and easily clean your cast iron cookware without stripping away accumulated flavor and seasoning
  •  Handcrafted rings made from the highest grade 316L stainless steel- the highest food grade steel in the industry
  • Effortlessly cleans cast iron, stainless steel, glassware, pyrex, and other cookware
  • Ultra hygienic and dishwasher safe
  • Perfect for cast iron restoration

The Hudson Cast Iron Steel Chainmail Scrubber has super smooth exterior which is nice because it doesn't scratch our stainless steel pots and pans or my hands. It might have a smooth exterior and feel but it's effective in cleaning and removing particles stuck on our pots and pans. For heavily soiled pans, I just soak it first in soap and warm water for about an hour and then proceed to scrub it gently using the Hudson Cast Iron Scrubber.

I also love how this didn't start to disintegrate when I used it. I don't need to use as much force as when I used my previous pot scrubber. It's durable and easy to maintain as well. As of now, I don't see any signs of rust forming in it and I like how effective it is.

  1. I never had a good Stainless Steel Chainmail Cleaner. I usually use soap pads, but this would be much better for me for my hard to scrub pots. I would use this in my sink also.
