Have you heard about sanitizing UV light wands? Well, honestly, this is new to me and ever since, I've depended on wipes with antibacterial properties to sanitize things around our home and when we're out. The UV Sanitizing Wand by My BioDefense arrived in a box with the UV wand and a USB cable which is used to power-up the wand.

The UV wand is light and portable and can also power-up with 2xAAA batteries (not included).

The wand has 2 UV-lights which is thin. It doesn't have any other protection so the lights are exposed. With proper care, this has no problem for me.

The UV wand powers on by pressing the power button for about 5 seconds. The light also turns off automatically when the wand is flipped (light facing me) or when the wand is closed. I like these safety features because the light shouldn't be shone to the eyes or shouldn't be used on the skin.

The micro-USB port powers up the UV wand when plugged in a power source. This has no internal rechargeable batteries so as soon as the UV wand is disconnected from the USB power source, this turns off automatically.

To power-up the UV wand with no power source, I can just put 2xAAA batteries so I can use this when I'm out.

The UV Sanitizing Wand from My BioDefense is a nice product to have. Even if I don't actually have proof that it works, based on the studies made on the properties of UV light, I am more confident and hoping that the surfaces are cleaner. In just a short time, 5 to 10 seconds, I am more at ease with the surfaces I touch.
