Orion Rechargeable LED Lantern And Powerbank Review
I've never gone camping, well except that one time when I was in high school and our club went "camping" inside the school grounds, and it was fun. Hubby keeps suggesting we go camping when our daughters grow a bit older and I look forward to it. Two of the things in my "to-bring-list" are lanterns and power banks. I know the tent, food, drinks, sleeping bags, etc. are more important but I think lighting and extra power for our devices is important too.
When I received the Orion Rechargeable LED Lantern AND Powerbank, and yes you read that right, I was super excited to try it because it is a lantern and a power bank in one.
The Orion Rechargeable LED Lantern and Powerbank arrived in a black box. The box contained the following:
✔ 180 Max Lumens Rechargeable Power Bank Camping Lantern
✔ 3 AA 1.5V Alkaline Batteries
✔ 2 Rechargeable Lithium Ion Batteries
✔ Micro USB Recharging Cable
✔ Instructions and Manufacturer Warranty Registration Details
When I opened the Orion Rechargeable LED Lantern and Powerbank, I was excited to see how cool looking it is. I was also excited because the batteries needed to power up the lantern is already included in the package.
The top cover is where the 3 x AA batteries are placed.
The bottom part of the lantern is where the 2 bigger rechargeable batteries are placed. The batteries hold 2400 mAh of power (according to the label of the batteries).
The lantern turns on by pulling the silver handles up.
There are 2 settings for the white LED light which can be changed by pressing the square button in front.
The 3rd press will change it to a red LED light and the 4th press of the square button will change the setting to a red LED strobe/flashing light.
My daughters love using the lantern at home. The light from the lantern is very bright.
There's a USB port at the back of the lantern to charge the rechargeable batteries. The red light on the square button means the lantern is charging.
When it turns green, it means the rechargeable batteries are full.
The Orion Rechargeable LED lantern and powerbank can charge my phone from a drained battery to until 95% of my phone's battery. What's also nice is that the lantern also works while I charge my phone.
I like how the Orion Rechargeable LED Lantern and Power bank is a lantern and a power bank as well. The lantern can either power up with the 3 x AA batteries or the 2 bigger, rechargeable batteries which I think is nice.
I like the Orion Rechargeable LED Lantern and Power Bank and is very handy even at home.

I've been needing a new lantern. I'll have to check this one out.
ReplyDeleteThis lantern would be great to keep in the house in the event of a power outage. I do like also that it comes with rechargeable batteries.
