Cellulose Natural Dish Scoop Sponge Review

Cellulose_Scoop_Sponge.jpg
ABOUT THE PRODUCT:

Our Premium Cellulose Natural Dish Scoop Sponge are
made from all natural wood with no polyester filling.
That makes them the greenest and most eco-friendlysponges on Amazon.
Another benefit is the unique shape of the sponge.
See, sponges by nature are typically bacteria magnets. This
is largely because they sit in a soap dish, allowing one
side to fester in water and become a beacon for all types
of bacteria. That is also why they smell so bad
Kitchen King's Cellulose Dish Scoop Sponge has an Arcshape that allows proper airflow so the sponge dries out
completely. This will stunt the growth of bacteria and
keep it from smelling foul.

MY REVIEW:

We hand wash our dining ware and cooking ware because that's how we grew up. Dishwashers weren't in yet and I feel like I can clean our dishes more effectively by using our hands.

I always buy sponges with the scrubbing pad on the other side. This is the first time I've tried a cellulose sponge by itself so I looked forward to trying it.

The Cellulose Scoop Sponge came in a 3-pack. Each sponge has that squeezy, soft feel. Upon opening the package, the sponges felt cool and they felt wet, although they were dry. It has a curved shape which is a bit unique because our previous sponges were flat. These sponges are also unscented which I think is nice.

These sponges only need a small amount of dish soap for it to start lathering and producing suds. I like that because I only need a smaller amount of liquid dish soap. They are a bit more delicate than the normal sponges I'm using so they're definitely only for dishes. They tend to break easily when used to scrub a bit harder so for me, these are perfect to use for gentle scrubbing of plates and dishes.

I noticed that they dry up quicker compared to our normal sponges. I wouldn't use these on pans and heavily soiled dishes.
