PowerTek Flash LED Headlamp Review

If you've been a follower of my blog, you might've read about hubby's biking schedule every Wednesday with his biking friends. Since they go biking after work, it's already almost dark when they start biking.

He has a front and rear bike light and a reflective vest to help him be more visible at night. When I received the PowerTek Flash Headlamp, I knew he would like it.

Here is a quick description of the PowerTek LED Headlamp:

Since he wears a bike helmet when he goes biking, he put it in his bike helmet with the use of some thick rubber bands at home. He improvised a bit to install the light on his bike helmet although the bike light already has an adjustable, stretchy head band already.

The headlamp needs 3xAAA batteries to work which is not included. The light tilts down to 3 different angles to make sure the light is pointing where it should be.

The White LED light can be turned on by pressing the button with 1 dot. It has 4 different light settings, 3 of those settings is a variation of brightness while the 4th one is a flashing one. The brightest setting is perfect for hubby when he goes biking because it makes the road more visible as well as it makes him more visible to cars.

The Red LED light can be turned on by pressing the button with 2 dots. There are 2 light setting and can be changed by pressing the button consecutively.

The Red LED light is also bright.

The Red LED Light and the White LED light can't be simultaneously used so if the white LED light is turned on, the Red LED light is off, and vice versa.

My 3 year old daughter saw the LED Headlamp before her dad came home so she asked if she could try it. The adjustable band fitted her and the White LED light above is the brightest setting.

Hubby loves his new PowerTek Flash LED Headlamp and he uses it every Wednesday. It has a nice quality and it's light so it doesn't weigh his helmet down.
