I like curling my hair once in a while so I like a nice curling iron which wouldn't damage my hair. Xtava sent me their 5 in 1 curling iron and I was super excited to try this curling iron because it has different sized barrels which are interchangeable.

The Xtava 5 in 1 curling iron came in a black box. The 5 interchangeable ceramic barrels and the power supply wand (I'm not sure what's it called) is in a bag which is very handy because I can keep and store all my barrels inside.

The 5 interchangeable barrels came in the following sizes:
- 0.3" to 0.75"
- 0.75" to 0.75"
- 0.7" to 1"
- 1" to 1"
- 1.25" to 1.25"

The Xtava 5 in 1 curling iron heats up pretty fast. It says I have to wait for 2 minutes for the curling iron to fully heat up but in less than a minute, I can already use it to curl my hair. The ceramic coated barrels help protect my hair from damage and dryness.

The heating wand/power supply wand has a safety lock feature so that the barrels wouldn't accidentally fly off the heating wand (although I doubt it would because it takes a bit of effort to remove and place the interchangeable barrels) when I'm using it.

I like how I only need this set to make different sized curls depending on my mood. Although I use the bigger barrels more often than the smaller wands, I still like to have them on hand if ever I feel like doing smaller, kinkier curls. :)

The swivel cord from the heating wand swivels 360 degrees so I don't have to worry about tangling power cords while I'm using the curling iron. The power cord is also long enough for me so that I don't have a hard time curling my hair all over my head.

There is an automatic shut off function so that makes me more at ease because even though I turn off and unplug my heat styling tools every time I'm done using them, there is an itty bitty little chance that I might forget unplugging them if I'm in a hurry. So, the automatic shut-off function makes my mind more at ease.

The only thing I noticed is that this set of curling iron doesn't have a temperature setting. I like styling tools with temperature settings because I only set the temperature of my flat or curling iron to 320 to 350 Degrees Farenheit to protect my hair from damage (at least that's what I think). The Xtava 5 in 1 Curling Iron From Xtava only has a single temperature setting which goes up to 410 Degrees Farenheit. The remedy: I turn it off if I feel like the wand is too hot already to bring down the temperature.
