Derma Roller by Diva d'or Review

Have you ever heard or tried a derma roller before? If you haven't, I've had the opportunity to try one and let me tell you about my experience. I also did a how-to video which you can find below. :)

The Diva d'or Derma Roller is a titanium micro-needle roller which has 540 1.0 mm needles. Microneedling, which is the term for using a derma roller, is used for anti-aging, acne scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, eye pouches, body, hair loss, cellulite, scalp and beauty enhancement.

The Diva d'or Derma Roller is already ready-to-use because it comes in a sterile package. It also includes a carry-on case which can be used for traveling or simply for storage.

The Diva d'or Derma Roller has the following benefits:

- Stimulates collagen formation.
- Tightens skin and restores elasticity.
- Softens fine lines.
- Reduces the appearance of scarring.
- Reduces cellulite.
- Reduces pigmentation and sun damage.
- Improves the skin's ability to absorb topical serums, gels and creams.

As promised, here is a video tutorial on how to use it. :)

If you're scared of needles, I'm sure you'll be scared to try this at first because of the word "micro-needles", right? Well, let me assure you that this doesn't hurt at all, at least for me. When I was in college, we had a subject, Hematology to be specific, and we would have to extract blood from one another so that we'd have something to use for our experiments. You might wonder why I told you that story but it's a bit related to why I'm not scared of needles. The Diva d'or derma roller has a slight prickling sensation but with just the right amount of pressure, it's painless. You might be discouraged upon seeing the rows and rows of small needles but you won't know that it doesn't hurt unless you try it. :)

So let's go back to the Diva d'or derma roller.

The Diva d'or derma roller is very easy to use. It comes in a sealed, sterilized packaging so it's ready to use. I use this about thrice a week and follow it up with my vitamin c serum. I would always cleanse my face before using the roller. Sterilizing the derma roller is as important to me as cleansing my face because I wouldn't want to get accidentally infected. So, I make sure to disinfect the derma roller head (the one with the needles) with 70% isopropyl alcohol before and after each use. I always start in my forehead in a small area and then continue on around until I reach my chin. I follow the instructions which is rolling it 4x vertically, 4x horizontally and then 4x diagonally while applying a little bit of pressure. My skin doesn't get red after each treatment. Just a tip: Don't overdo the rolling because too much would intensify the prickling sensation a bit.

The Diva d'or Derma Roller is a nice tool to get my skin to absorb the vitamin c serum better. It also helped reduce the fine lines on my forehead. I like how easy it is to use and how it made my skin look brighter and healthier.

You can find the Diva d'or Derma Roller on Amazon for $17.75 with free shipping if you have Prime.
