Omega 3 Fish Oil by TRUE SOL Review + Giveaway 9/15 US/CAN
I'm familiar with fish oils in the past because my grandmother takes it and I've read about it in the internet. I've read about a lot of benefits from taking Omega-3 but one of the cons I've read about it was that it has a fishy/slimy aftertaste when your burp. I do eat fish and seafood regularly so I thought why bother taking a fish oil supplement which leaves a fishy aftertaste if I already eat fish and seafood on a regular basis. Right?
Well I did my research and found out that in order to get the recommended daily dose of omega-3, NIH recommends 1 to 4 grams of Omega-3 per day which means I have to eat oily fish daily which includes salmon, mackerel, herring and sardines to name a few to get my Omega-3. I do eat fish and seafood regularly but NOT daily so I still don't get the Omega-3 my body needs. So I decided to give True Sol's Omega-3 Fish Oil Supplement a try.
Before we dive into my review, here are some benefits of taking Omega-3/Fish Oil Daily.
- It promotes heart healt.
- It increases brain function.
- It helps inflammation and joints
- It decreases depression and improves mood.
- It promotes healthy skin.
Why should you choose True Sol over other Fish Oil/Omega-3 Supplements?
1. True Sol's fish oil capsules have enteric coating for optimal absorption & no fishy aftertaste.
2. True Sol uses molecular distillation so you get the highest purity.
I received my True Sol Omega-3 Fish Oil in a white plastic bottle. I opened it and removed the inner protective cover. I whiffed the scent of lemons when I tried to smell it I was a bit shocked with the size of the fish oil capsules because they are BIG. It has a light yellow color and is in a soft gel capsule form. The directions are to take 2 capsules a day.
So I was a little scared to take it at first because they're so big. I mustered the courage to try to swallow True Sol's Omega-3 Fish Oil and was a bit relieved that they are easy to swallow considering the big size. Maybe because they're in a soft gel capsule form so I didn't have a hard time swallowing it. The soft gel capsules has a light lemony/sour taste which I think is okay.
I've been taking this for a week now and I love how I don't get the fishy burp-aftertaste. I also noticed that I've had less breakouts and I noticed that I don't get irritated or angry as much as before. I'm happy that even though I don't eat the oily fish on a daily basis, I still get the Omega-3 I need to help improve my health and wellness.
* Just a quick note. If you're taking any medications or have any questions about taking ANY medication, be sure to check with your health care provider first. :)
