Dual Julienne and Vegetable Peeler by Priority Chef Review #prioritychef

We've never invested in a peeler. For almost 3 years now, we've only changed our peeler once (because our old peeler broke already) and both our peelers came from the dollar tree. Well, we always thought that peelers... are peelers. Some vegetables and fruits are easy to peel (like cucumbers, apples, etc.) and some are hard to peel (like different kinds of squash). This was what we thought until...

Priority Chef sent me their Dual Julienne and Vegetable Peeler to try in exchange for an honest review. When I received it, I opened it immediately and saw how different it is from our old peeler. It looked almost pretty for a peeler.

The Dual Julienne and Vegetable Peeler by Priority Chef is made of stainless steel and is dishwasher safe. It has 2 sides which can be used as a Julienne Peeler or a Vegetable Peeler.

This side is the Julienne Peeler.

And this side is the Vegetable Peeler.

Since I was so amazed at how smooth and easy it was to peel an "upo" (White Squash in English), I took the time to take a video of the Priority Chef in action.

Here is a photo of perfect Julienned "upo" (White Squash in English).

The handle of the Priority Chef Peeler is easy to grip and considering this peeler is made of stainless steel, it is quite light. It doesn't take much effort to grip and carry the peeler. I also love that there are 2 sides to this peeler since it serves as a dual purpose. I can make thin Julienne-cut vegetables for salads and toppings.

When washing the Dual Julienne Peeler & Vegetable Peeler, I had to be careful around the blades because they are sharp. Small pieces of vegetable get stuck on the blades of the Julienne Peeler side but running it under the faucet would do the trick. Don't ever try to remove pieces of vegetables with your hand because the blades might cut you. I washed it by hand because I prefer washing all our utensils and pots by hand.

After trying out and using the Dual Julienne and Vegetable Peeler by Priority Chef, I'm sure that I'm never going back to the dollar tree peelers. The Dual Julienne and Vegetable Peeler proved how easy it SHOULD be to peel a vegetable! The blades are so sharp that it just glides smoothly. I only need to run the peeler along the skin of the vegetable once and it does the job. I noticed a big difference between our old dollar peeler and the Priority Chef's Dual Julienne and Vegetable Peeler that I can't believe we thought the dollar tree peeler was okay. I do hope the blades will stay sharp for a long time because I really loved the sharpness of the blades.

You can purchase the Dual Julienne and Vegetable Peeler by Priority Chef on Amazon for $9.95. BUY IT HERE.
