Code Master Programming Logic Game From ThinkFun Review

I love it when I get to try products from ThinkFun because they offer a wide variety of games for all ages. The games they offer are challenging and helps improve creativity and reasoning, helps improve logical thinking and a lot more. Recently, they sent me the Code Master Game which is a programming logic game.  Here is a quick product description of the game:

The Ultimate Coding Adventure! In Code Master, your Avatar will travel to an exotic world in search of power Crystals. For all 60 levels, you’ll have to use programming logic to help your Avatar collect the Crystals and land at the Portal. Think carefully, in each level, only one specific sequence of actions will lead to success.

When my daughters first saw the box, they thought it was a Minecraft game. Yes, I did see the similarities because of the block-y character in front of the box but I told them that this wasn't a Minecraft game.

The instructions were very easy to follow.

There are 60 different levels included in this game and each level becomes more challenging.

As the game progressed, crystals were also included which is needed to be picked up before reaching the portal.

The player wins once the avatar reaches the portal and if there are crystals included in the level, those should be picked up already before reaching the portal.

Similar to programming, this game is played by following a sequence. A move cannot be repeated and the commands given in each level should only be used once. I like how I am able to think how to use each move so that my avatar will reach the portal, as well as collect the crystals if there's any included in a level, in a single sequence.

As the level progresses, the challenge becomes harder which is nice because I am able to exercise my brain. This is a single player game but hubby and me take turns on each level which makes it more fun.

Zitrades 200 LED Solar Fairy String Lights Review

When I received the Zitrades 20 LED Solar Fairy String Lights, I was super excited to try it because I've never tried a similar product before. I've tried the solar powered chargers which works really well but this is the first time I'm trying solar powered string lights.

I placed the solar panel included in our front porch so that it can get enough solar power during the day. This has an included stake so that I can place and position the panel properly.

There are 2 buttons on the back of the panel. One is the power on/off button and the other one is to change the modes of the string light.

The lights included in this set are blue, green, yellow and red.

I left the solar panel turned on. As soon as it became dark, which was about 8 pm, the lights automatically turned on. I love how bright these lights are. I slept past 12 midnight and the lights still kept glowing.

I love that these lights are solar powered and that they work. They hold a minimum of a 4 hour charge and I like how sensitive the solar panel is. I can just leave it turned on and the lights will automatically turn on once it gets dark.

Even for a solar powered string light, the Zitrades Solar Fairy String Lights are bright and works well. I didn't see any non-working bulb which is nice as well. I've been using this daily for more than a month now and all the LED lights are still working.

KlipPro Stainless Steel Toe Nail Nipper Review

I've had ingrown nails on my big toe for more than a decade now. If I clip the nail wrong or the sides grow to a certain length, I would have pain on the inner side of my big toe because of the ingrown nail. The KlipPro Stainless Steel Toe Nail Nipper is bigger and looks more sturdy and heavy duty compared to my current toe nail nipper. The inner handle has a lever which can be pulled to make it easier to use the nail nipper. The lever makes the nail nipper automatically bounce back to an open position when the handles aren't squeezed together.

The handle of the nail nipper measures 5 inches which makes it easy and comfortable to hold it. The sides of the handles also have some grooves which helps in keeping my grip on the nail nipper.

The most important feature is that this nail nipper is very sharp. It can cut through my toe nails, which are thicker, when I clip them. I also like that the blades have a slight contoured design to follow the shape of my nails. Aside from that, there is a plastic cover included to protect and cover the blade of this nail nipper.

Whenever I need to replace the batteries on my daughters' toys, I would have to go through hubby's tools, which is sometimes a hassle for me, because there's a lot. 5 of the bits are already loaded into the revolving chamber which are the Philipps #1, #2 and #3 and the Slotted 4 mm and 6 mm. 4 of the bits is located inside the handle which can be manually removed and placed on the magnetic bit holder.

What's so cool about this, at least for me, is that the revolving chamber automatically loads and changes the 5 bits. I just have to pull the handle, revolve the barrel to the bit size I want and then push it back in.

There's also a metal extender located on the other side of the handle.

The Simian 10 in 1 Autoloading Ratchet Screwdriver is really helpful for me because I don't have to dig through hubby's tools. I can easily switch the bits in this screwdriver and although I find this a bit heavy but looks durable and well made.

The handle has a rubber casing which makes it easy for me to hold the screwdriver. The ratchet also has a 3-way functionality which can be switched to forward, reverse or stop.

This is a cool and nice autoloading ratchet screwdriver which looks heavy duty and works as it should.

The BriaUSA silver galvanized metal hangers came in a box of 100. It is priced reasonably because these are well made. The hangers are thin and is a space saver compared to our plastic hangers but is durable and doesn't bend easily.

These can hold my coats and hubby's jackets without bending which is nice. It can also hold my wide shoulder shirts which usually slips off from my previous metal hangers. Mobile Esprit Pink Light Up Lightning To USB Cable Charger Review

My daughters use my iPad more than I use it. They use it to read ebooks, watch on YouTube and play apps. So, they already know how to plug the lightning connector to the iPad mini. I don't let them plug the adapter on the electrical socket for safety purposes but they do know how to plug the lightning connector to the iPad mini.

When I plugged the Mobile Esprit Pink Light Up Lightning to USB cable, they were awed with the pretty light up charging cable. The lights change color and the connector lighted up from the USB connector to the cord to the lightning connector.

The lighted charging cable is pretty helpful when it's dark because I don't need to turn on the lights anymore to see where the charging cable is. It's pretty visible and bright and I like that without turning on the lights, I can plug the lightning connector on the iPad mini. It's effective in charging the iPad mini because it doesn't display any error messages.

Aside from being pretty, this measures 1 meter, the usual length of charging cables, and the cord has a clear, rubbery feel. The cord is thicker compared to the original iPad mini charger I have and is a bit heavier. I do like it because it feels durable and less prone to damage on the connectors since the cable is thicker.

So far, this is a nice light up lightning to USB cable charger and is very pretty.
