Herotopia Online Game for Kids Review

My 5 year old daughter loves playing online games. As a mom, I allow her to play online games just as long as it's educational and appropriate for her age. I saw Herotopia and got curious of the name. I showed it to her and she immediately wanted to try it.

The sign-up process is very easy and she customized her own hero's costume, hair and eyes. Her hero is the one in blue clothes and green cape. She also named her own hero. I like the graphics because they're colorful and there are different levels. There is also an option for chatting with other players but since she's too young to understand it, she just played with the different mini games.

This game is called Stash the Trash. I enjoyed playing this game as much as my daughter did. You just have to catch the recyclable things the airplane man is dropping and avoid the toxic barrel he drops. There is a timer but as long as you catch the clocks the airplane man drops, you'll never run out of time. I love this game because my daughter learned about recycling. When I was playing the game she keeps on telling me on how to recycle bottles because they harm the fishes and sharks in the ocean.

This is another mini game which is called Tugboat twist. It is similar to the Blocks game I have on our tablet and the goal is to open up a path for the blue boat to got to the blue exit space on the right. Now she tried playing this and she only finished up to level 2.  This is harder and I'm the one who played it until level 13. I enjoyed the game but not intended for younger kids.

This is her favorite part. The Playground where she has her own smighties pet. Her pet's name is Huego and he is so cute. She loves feeding him and bathing him. My 2 year old loves this because of the simple buttons. She can just click the 6 different buttons here and the pet responds.

It is free to sign-up and create a character at Herotopia. You can play many different mini games in the free subscription and interact with other players too. You also have the option to choose a membership plan for $49.95 a year for more options like decorating your child's hideout and get superpowers and super vehicles.

It is very fun and I like it because it teaches my daughter about the environment in a fun and educational way.

Kroger Deli Fried Chicken Review

I have 2 daughters with very different personalities as well as eating habits. My elder daughter who just turned 5 is a very picky eater. She doesn't like many foods. My 2 year old on the other hand eats everything. She eats anything I give her and doesn't mind eating vegetables and she loves fruits. Despite their differences on food choices, they both love fried chicken. They would eat a lot whenever fried chicken is served.

As a member of BzzAgent, I was given a free coupon for an 8 pc. Kroger Deli fried chicken, a free product coupon for the Kroger chips and a free product coupon for any 1.25 L Coca-cola product. I was excited to try the chicken the most. My daughters were excited as well and couldn't wait to taste it.

I love that the chicken stayed fresh and the taste isn't too salty. It was just right for me. It was perfect with white rice. The meat of the fried chicken was juicy and soft. My daughters loved it too. They ate more than what they eat and I'm very happy with that. The chicken also stayed fresh until we got home. The size of the fried chicken was pretty big too (specially the thighs).

Pajanimals: Pajama Party! DVD Review

As a mom of 2 girls (2 and 4 year old), I always look for fun and at the same time educational children's shows. As an NSider, I was given another opportunity by NCircle Entertainment to review their Pajanimals Pajama Party! DVD.  My 2 year old personally picked this title when I showed them the available titles they can pick. So when the DVD came, she was very excited to watch it.

My daughters watched it with excitement. My 2 year old loved the 1st episode. She was excited to see all the balloons in Sweet Pea Sue's birthday party and even recognized the colors. They also danced to the Jiggle Giggle Dance and the Sing, Sing, Sing a Pajanimal Song.

For me, I love that the episodes teach lessons like sharing and not becoming jealous in a subtle way that my daughters understand.

I was also surprised to see a colorful certificate from NCircle for my participation to their NSider program. My 2 year old daughter immediately recogniszed Pocoyo, Elli and Pato. :)
I truly recommend pajama party for younger children because the characters are very fun to watch.

Here is a brief description of the DVD from NCircle:

About the DVD: The Pajanimals love to celebrate birthdays, sing songs and enjoy pajama dance parties with friends.  Join CowBella, Apollo, Sweetpea Sue and Squacky as they travel to Birthday Land to learn the true importance of why birthdays are so special!  Then it’s time to enjoy a pajama dance party and sing our favorite songs!  Join the Pajanimals on these fun adventures before it’s time for bedtime.  These stories encourage children to learn important social and emotional lessons such as practice makes perfect, overcoming jealousy, and spending time with the ones you love.
